The Contest Owners Association was set up in 2001 by an owner who felt that there should be a forum for those who sail these splendid boats of all vintages. Its aims are simple: To enable members to contact each other To create a Contest “Family” To help answer Contest related questions To organise a limited social programme To publish a web site To share Contest knowledge and experience And, most importantly, to do what the members themselves want. The initial subscription is £20 This covers the maintenance of the web site and inclusion on the members list circulated to members. There are no further subs other than for special events. We rely on those who use the site being honest and sending us £20 to ensure its continued existence as an amenity for all Contest owners. All members are encouraged to organise local events and to use the site and membership list to publicise their activities. Remember anyone can post on the forum right away.
